What you will do
Research and develop our autonomous materials-development system, which automates the closed loop of synthesis, measurement, data analysis, and experimental planning. You will design materials-experiment workflows, automate synthesis, measurement, and recording through robotics and instrument integration, and connect them with planning algorithms — designing lab automation with a working experimentalist’s intuition.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in a science or engineering field, or equivalent knowledge and research experience
- Experience designing and running experiments in materials science, chemistry, or analytical measurement
Nice to have
- Experience with instrument control, robotics, or measurement automation
- Hands-on experience with analytical techniques such as XRD, spectroscopy, or electron microscopy
- Knowledge of Bayesian optimization or design of experiments
- Conference presentations or peer-reviewed publications
